I noticed a glare around parts of one of the cards… It’s where you have to tell what flavor ice cream it is. I figured I would have to search a part of the website (which I’ve explored before) to find out, but the friggen card is scratch and sniff!!!!! How awesome is that! lol

Perplex City – Cool new game/website/obsession
Perusing the novelties on Think Geek I came across a collectable card game called Perplex City. Being a fana of any new types of games (Partly because I got screwed out of buying a few Magic: The Gathering alpha decks for about $3 each) I checked out the Perplex City web site and found a wonderful new obsession!
Perplex City is a huge city which lives virtually online through many different websites. The basis of the game is that the Receda Cube has been stolen and hidden somewhere on earth. There is a reward of approximately $200,000 to the person who finds the Cube. This is the REAL part. If you solve the mystery and find the cube, you will actually win $200,000.
Along the way you can follow along with the story and uncover clues and all the hidden mysteries of Perplex City.
The game is unique and though you don’t have to spend a cent to play, cards are available at some game retailers and through the Internet. The cards (while collectable) contain puzzles, clues, maps, etc. Some as as complex as to reveal the clue on them, you need to apply heat or cold to the card to make the ink visible.
All in all, the game looks great. I’m waiting on my first pack of cards. They should arrive in the mail today or tomorrow! I’ll keep you all posted.

Beware!!!
Do NOT flip over the Purple Hissing Octocrabs from Outer Space!!! This would be very bad. VERY bad.
