It seems that the binder ahead of me is in contract now, so we’ll see what happens. There’s always the chance that the board will turn down the person. After all, The kid’s parents are buying the place for their son to live in, where with me, I’m actually buying my own place.
So keep your fingers crossed for me. And if I don’t get it, then it wasn’t meant to be. After all, the more time I wait, the more i’ll be able to save up and afford.
::fingers crossed::
A lot of boards are picky about if the people buying the apartment is in fact the person living in the apartment, and especially in cases where people are buying an apartment for their kid, and heaven forbid they are a student. They would prefer the working professional in the building, one they have vetted themselves.
That said, if it doesn’t work out for you, it was meant to be, and you would probably find something even better.
Also, if you have any questions through the process, I’d be happy to help.
