It’s been almost 8 months since I dropped Sprint’s service, and I still couldn’t be happier with Verizon. Usually I post about negative experiences, but tonight’s call to the big red phone company has left me in a good mood.
I found out today that Verizon recently lowered the prices of many of their plans. I actually missed the boat as they they just restored the pricing to what I was already paying ($100/mo for 10GB). The agent asked me to hold so she could get me the lower rate of only $80. After confirming there would be no changes to my service (other than a $20 reduction), she adjusted my account to grandfather me into the lower rate and on top of that, offered me a $30 one-time credit for asking me to hold so long (about 6-8 minutes).
I wish all companies offered customer service like this.
