Finally back from the cruise… Had a blast. Started out a bit shaky but I think I actually had a good time once I met some people and got into a groove of stuff to do…
Highlights…
Playin’ with the Canon EOS 10D was loads of fun. I probbaly looked like a tourist for half the trip, but I didn’t care. The camera kicks ass..
Ed Rocks Rocks! Ed is the Lounge Singer/Pianist. He works mostly on the Carnival Cruise Lines (We were on Triumph) but occaisionally plays in lounges and clubs around. His songs, “Sara” (Sitting on the shed house door) and “Just a friendly little cat” (MEOW!) were a hit along with his Cannonball Toasts! Man can that guy drink! 🙂
Tons of hot women, Met some of them and just enjoyed the views of the rest….okay, and tons of not so hot ones, but I can happilu say that my memories are filled with the nicer ones.
Too bad it’s over… Tomorrow I start my new job with Optimum Online. Wish me luck!
Awww, sorry your week has ended but I’m glad your back & had a great time. I didn’t want to comment while you were away because I didn’t want to take up your internet time. Congradulations on your Foriegn Geocache, that’s awesome. What were to items like? I am getting pissed off at the people who find my cache. I put really good stuff in there (dominos set, playing cards, fund small stuff) & they take it all & leave crap in there.
Congradulations on your new camera! That’s sweet! My casio Exilim just came back from repair on Friday so I am excited about that!
You said something that I found really interesting & fasinating. I can’t remember your exact words but you were having a hard time at first about going the the club disco thing because you were “still very self-concious”. You? You are gorgeous! One of the reasons why I friended you 🙂 I saw your comment to something & was like OOOH cute guy 🙂 So even the gorgeous guys get self-concious too huh? Interesting 🙂
Glad you had a great time, good luck tommorrow in your new job.
lol. I love going to clubs but I’ve never been much of a social butterly in those situations. I tend to people-watch more than join the people. I’m a firm believer that I can’t dance and I look like that typical *White guy who can’t dance” (Sorry about the stereotype) so I usually have to be in company of several good friends and/or really drunk to dance 🙂
That night, the only reason I did was because this chick and I were talking and she’s asked why I wasn’t dancing. I kinda shrugged off the question and she told me I should go find some cute girl and ask her to dance… She was extremely hot and even me, Mr. Shy Guy couldn’t turn down the opportunity so I got onto the floor with her and had a good time… We danced a few songs and I headed to bed afterwards.
Maybe it’s because I tend to go to clubs to people-watch that I’m self-councious that everyone else is doing the same to me. It’s weird, cuz I usually don’t care what other people think. I’ll act all silly in public (See my pictures from Ikea) but just can’t get onto a dance floor without some coersion (sp?)
(See my pictures from Ikea)
Way too funny! I wish we had an Ikea around here, I love there stuff. Is that your brother? You guys are adorable!
So anyways… tell me about the geocache. What was in it? What did you take/leave behind? Where was it? How much different was it than US ones. Like I said everyone leaves crap in mine. Have you hidden any? I can’t find very many, need some help & maybe a guide. My GPS mocks me.
The cache in St Martin was not a conventional cache, but a Virtual Cache. A landmark with the coordinates posted and to claim the cache you email the owner with a description of the item. I found GCHH2Q (You can search by this waypoint on Geocaching.com)
To date, I have found 20 caches and hidden 3.
Mine are…
Up And To The Left (GCHNAX) – In the woods near a dunkin’ donuts we used to hang out at.
JDA-01 (GCGMW8) – In a nature preverve/woods/trails
Cache of the Dead Bum (GCHW46) – My coolest cache. Located on a small island in a small river. Requires a raft or swimming through mucky water to get to.

I used to set the GPS and use the compass mode to “point” towards the cache, but that constantly sends me around in circles. I just enter all the waypoints I want to find into the thing and head towards them using only the Map Mode… I find any other navigation modes are quirky. What’s your name on Geocaching.com? I’ll check your finds out.
